Seoul Olympics
Dan Mazzeo took this picture at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea. Thanks, Dan! It's easy to spot tall Olaf Ludwig in his silver-gray East Germany jersey - he would go on to win the Gold Medal. Looks like his bike is equipped with Campy NR/SR. Also easily recognized, on the right, #348 in the red USSR jersey, is magnificent sprinter Djamolidine Abdujaparov of Uzbekistan, who would finish 7th in the Olympics.
