Vin Cox set a World Record on August 2010


Vin Cox set the Guinness World Record for Fastest Circumnavigation of the World by Bicycle when he finished at the Greenwich Royal Observatory on August 2010.

During the 163 days riding alone...

  • he cycled 18,225.7 miles
  • through 17 countries,
  • sometimes expended 11,000 calories per day,
  • in temperatures ranging over 50c,
  • he was detained as a possible spy,
  • and was struck by dysentery twice.
